About Us
Reuben and Simon are honest, practical, and driven professionals with complementary experience in the construction industry. Reuben grew up in the earthworks business as a third-generation excavator, spending the first 15+ years of his career working for the family business.
After refining his skills, knowledge and expertise, Reuben sought to take on a new challenge. He continued the family legacy by starting a new company with his friend Simon.
Simon has worked across the country on civil projects ranging from $10M to $2B for Canada’s two largest general contractors as well as a local construction manager in roles ranging from Field Engineer to Project Manager.
He has completed formal education in civil engineering and business and has developed a strong understanding of project safety, quality, scheduling and cost controls. Village might be new but these two are no strangers to the construction industry.
